For quite a long time we did an extensive search for "Mr. Right" - on internet, on shows,
as well as in the stud dog lists of various clubs.

Besides the exterieur we did look for some "stabile health and longevity"
- along with a possible lower risk for certain inheritable diseases.

"Mogli" aka Askan v. Schloss-Turm catched our eyes in May 2008 on a show; a sound temperament
combined with the desired "look" - a check of his pedigree gave us some more PLUS
as there we found some known and desired ancestors.

Another "big advantage" - at least from our point of view, considering what we're trying to achieve -
is the fact that Mogli himself has turned 7 years in October 2008, his parents will reach 10 years
in January resp. April 2009 - both parents are still healthy and vital.

At the age of 6.5 years - when some others finish either the show carreer or wait for some months
to be shown with the veterans - Mogli gained the "Deutscher Champion Club Title"
and at the age between 4 and 6.5 years he gained several winner titles too.

This simply ressembles that he does not show his age and is in an excellent condition.

His titles are another "PLUS = nice to have" - but not really necessary and no reason for our decision.

Combined with some of the same traits (longevity among ancestors) in our Gipsy,
we hope that the puppies will become great looking leos of great temperament,
with a good resistance against diseases and sound health and finally some longevity.

But most important is the fact that all found a good for-ever-loving home !
