Jan. 2007

Angie finished the Polish Championship

July 2007

Gipsy finished the Polish Championship

2007 - 2008

Angie and Gipsy had been shown in Germany and the Netherlands
and did quite well - www.leotrio.eu

Nov. 2007

Angie's season was somewhat strange, a sudden raise and drop
of progesterone, therefore no chance yet to breed her

June 2008

Angie' s season, this time slow raising progesteron suggests a
"regular" season with  the chance for a "dog wedding";
quite a long trip to meet the chosen lover and also an "interrupted" season
with Prog. up's and down's and Up's again - well, so we have to wait till mid of
July to know whether this "dog wedding with problems" was sucessful or not

July 2008

twice ultrasound and palpation - NO PUPPIES for Angie
we are now going to wait for Gipsy's season (some time in Aug. 2008)
and did already some research on a suitable lover for Gipsy

Aug. 2008

Gipsy came into season and dog wedding was celebrated twice sucessfully

Sept. 2008

Pregnancy confirmed by USG (?no of puppies?)

Oct. 2008

X-ray after day 53 did show 6 puppies
Puppies are born (a bit earlier than expected)
2 boys, 4 girls

Dec. 2008

Basis-Vac., Micro-Chipping, Tattoage and Registration at Polish Kennelclub,
also back in Germany several veterinary checks incl. X-rays to make sure that we
send the puppies "as healthy as any possible" to the new puppy parents

Departures of puppies took place Dec. 16 - 19 - 22, 2008

Jan. 2009

enjoying our Mandy, socialising her well and looking forward to Angie's season
which we expect some time in 2009
planning eventually the B-litter

Feb. 2009

very busy with Mandy's training, visiting home for elderly people weekly, visiting kindergarten and other places, at the beginning 4 x per week, now we reduced it
to 2 x per week. Mandy does great and is a puppy of very charming sweet temperament

March 2009

the Leotrio made a trip to France to meet Angie's fiance
and spent a few days there (March 02 - dog wedding)

very busy with Mandy's training and preparing for her 1st show

April 2009

Angie is pregnant but it is a somewhat complicated pregnancy (with some resorption due to lack of prog.) which has to be supervised and supported - Angie is very slim and locks rather like a model than a pregnant girl

May 2009

a somewhat complicated pregnancy ended in a somewhat complicated delivery
yet all pups had been fine and strong from the first moment - Angie was tired, exhausted but alright
Angie was supported by the whole pack - during pregnancy, during delivery,
whilst raising the pups

June 2009

End of June

much fun but lack of sleep since the puppytrio is very adventurous - and there was so much to learn and to do for them - many outdoor activities

the final GOODBYE (B-litter-pups)
- it always hurts but the new puppy parents are
so in love with their "cute bundles of joy" -

July - Dec. 2009

we will enjoy life, probably attend some shows, relax and make plans for 2010
eventually visiting friends "across the big pond" - not sure yet - well we have had
a visit of the friends from "across the big pond" which is almost as good
as going over

August - Dec. 2009

Mandy is doing quite well on dog shows, she grows nicely
with no problems - however, teething was a "pest" but now
all is done and all is complete (scissor) o:)

Sept. - Oct. 2009

Our Angie had a kind of "black spot" in her left eye; we went to an eye specialist
"Iris cyst" a very rare condition - benigne and not inheritable -
anyway "we did not ask for another problem in our Life" !!!
The cyst was removed in October and after 3 "awful" weeks with an Elizabethian Collar
and 3 bad-tempered Leos who could not play with each other as they used to do, finally
Angie is at least as beautiful as she was before the operation
(our "'skinny Minnie" is now a bit "more woman and less girl")

Dec. 2009

Mandy's sister had quite a success - 1 weekend - 6 shows (IABCA)
she hold now the same titles than Mandy (nat. and Int. Junior CH)
Asterix hold the nat. JuniorCH title and his brother did start a show carreer
in Dec. 2009 too - unfortunately the poor boy had been entered in wrong Class
(Open) and had to compete with 2 adult specimn of the breed:
next year - next show - appropriate class and he will win !
the Canadian sister is doing well - after she tried pretty hard to drive everybody
crazy - but as they are all a bit "crazy" the nice way ....it didn't matter;
so probably in 2010 they might do some shows too

Jan. - March 2010

not so very happy with one puppy client as we feel we have "misplaced" Angie's only daughter;
all attempts to "buy" Belinda back - failed - and it seems that we have dealt enough with a hypocritical owner whose hobby is to find disease after disease after disease (where we have
to mention that at the same time the 2 siblings are "clear" from that diseases).

Feb. 2010 - invitation by my friend Sylvia, I took the chance to meet Hilo and
had the honour to show him twice (Exc. I, BOB and also a 2nd pl in Group)

March 2010 - pedigrees are issued and scans sent to all owners, originals sent out to 2 owners
as we are probably seeking a lawyers advise cause of the annoying 3rd puppy owner

April 2010

we spent in our "other home" in Poland:
doing several health testing (eyes, heart, blood profile, DNA) and also
meeting (with some organizations, lawyer etc.) as well as attending a dog show
with quite some success for our trio

some of our Canadian relatives did celebrate the 11th birthday !
VonLinderhof A-litter pups - 11 pups - and 6 of this 11 pups alive and fine
and hopefully striving for 12th birthday = es darf gerne etwas mehr sein o:)

May 2010

some health problems for us but gladly not for the Leos, however,
2 more shows for our girls with quite some success for our trio

June 2010

several health tests for Mandy (hips / elbows)
and happy about the results, also some more expos and some more success

July 2010

spending some days in our "other home", (Poland)  also some important
meetings took place plus some show success too

July 22, 2010

LPN1 test results from Bern - all girls are N/N - clear
we are so happy esp. as we got in follow info from the relatives (US and Canada)
VonLinderhof line is clear (results N/N till back to the founders)

Aug. 2010

some more good health results from the relatives (15 related Leos tested
for LPN1 - 14 of them clear, 1 carrier)

and some more show success - gained 2 more championships

Updates of the girls' sites, esp. health-sites

and will now relax a bit and care for our health problems
(the 2legged crews problems)

Sept. Okt. Nov. 2010

some more show success and also some more health problems
LPN1 Test Teddy - done post mortem (from semen!) N/N clear
also clear by necropsy done in 2006

Dec. 2010

Review A- and B-litter
and considerations to eventually "close"  down
due to healthproblems

Jan. 2011

International Champion FCI for Gipsy - confirmed by FCI
we are very proud of our girl

Good results on Brabant Rashonden Festival
(all 3 Leos excellent)

bilingual articles about the genetic situation in our breed
(published resp. will be published an dhad been used for a speech)
-  available to various clubs and breeders -

Feb. 2011

Dad of our B-litter and his relatives LPN1clear
(one brother in Canada per test of Aug. 2010 N/N)
gives LPN1 - N/N for the B-litter pups

March 2011

updates - the two bilingual articles are uploaded
another one will follow soon

Mandy had quite some success -- Best female in UCI-Show
13.03.2011 (Belgium)

one more girl from our A-litter was tested
(thyroid, LPN1, HD-ED)
results pending - HD/ED looks very good

April 2011

DNA profile and ID check for Barry - and he knows
by now that "Daddy is Daddy" o:)

there was no daubt about this but nasty rumour from various people ! Now with this proof
- accepted everywhere (also in court) the nasty rumour became illegal slander and the case could
be taken to the court ! However - those who spread the rumour are just "not important enough
for any other actions" - they are PROVEN TO BE WRONG and that is what counts !

May 2011

Barry did his first steps ont he showground - with success !
B-litter celebrates his 2nd birthday - 2 of the pups we could follow closely
and they developed into nice, healthy, happy Leos, just as it should be !
Some more health tests for this 2 boys will follow soon "

July - Dec 2011

severe health problems and other stuff
and as there are just too many jerks online to "spider"
websites and spread nasty gossip and wrong information,
we will not publish our News any longer.

If somebody feels the need to contact us,
s/he might email us.

Thanks !
